Every spring, the second year graphic design students at Metropolia get to produce most of the summer special edition of the magazine Koululainen. We get to produce articles and sections of our choice and illustrate existing sections like short stories, quizzes and jokes.
Funny Sharks
My choice of article to illustrate and write was about different species of sharks, I decided to introduce some more bizarre ones. Illustrated them by emphasising their qualities mentioned in their names.

We had the opportunity to create the layouts ourselves, following to the existing identity.
Ultimately the designer at the publisher was free to make changes they felt was necessary. This did happen with some paragraphs here and the football was added to the mouth of the basking shark without my consent........
